Everything’s in your head. That’s the problem.
The thing you promised on Tuesday. The follow-up you’ll remember at 2am, from a dead sleep, too late to do anything about it. The half-formed idea you had in the shower and lost by breakfast. You are carrying all of it, all the time, and the carrying is the tax.
helloim.ai is built to take that weight off. It’s an AI assistant that lives on your own computer — you talk to it, it answers back in a real voice, and it helps you think through your day instead of holding all of it alone. It has a face. It has a voice you actually like. And the point of it isn’t the technology. The point is the quiet on the other side of it: fewer things running in your head, and better sleep because of it.
That’s what we’re selling. Everything below is just how it’s true.
You talk. It answers. Out loud.
Open the app and there’s a presence sitting on your desktop, waiting. Hands-free or push-to-talk — your choice. Say the thing the instant it arrives, before it slips, and it’s out of your head and into something that will actually hold it.
Talk through a problem while your hands are busy. Ask for a rundown of what’s on your plate. Think out loud with something that answers in a voice instead of a wall of text you have to stop and read. It’s less like opening a website and more like turning to someone who’s already in the room.
And you choose who that someone is. Six faces ship with it, each its own personality and voice — pick the one you actually want to work with. The default is called Giles. Working alongside an assistant for hours a day is a relationship, and you should get to choose the company.
Bring your own brain. Switch anytime.
Here’s the part most assistants won’t give you: you choose the AI behind it.
Most tools lock you to one company’s model and quietly hope you never leave. helloim.ai is built the opposite way. Point it at Claude. Point it at OpenAI. Point it at Gemini. Or point it at a model running locally on your own machine through Ollama — no account, no cloud, no bill. Switch whenever you want, per conversation.
That means you pick the right brain for the job in front of you. The most capable model when the work is hard. The cheapest when it’s routine. The most private when it matters. You’re not renting a tab from one vendor and living with their trade-offs — you’re holding the remote.
(One honest note, because we’d rather you know: the deeper Claude-specific features — connectors and skills — need Claude as the brain and Claude Code installed on your machine. Everything else, every brain, just talks.)
The private part — read this one carefully
This is the section we refuse to overstate, because the whole value of it is that it’s true.
You can run helloim.ai fully local. Choose a model running on your own hardware, and your prompts, your data, and your voice can stay entirely on your machine. It’s designed to run fully offline on a local model — no cloud, no third party. For anyone doing sensitive work, that isn’t a feature. It’s the whole reason to use it.
Now the precise line, because precision here is the point: this privacy is true when you choose a local brain. If you connect a cloud model — Claude, OpenAI, Gemini — then your prompts go to that provider, the same as any AI tool. That’s normal, and for most work it’s exactly what you want. But it is not “nothing leaves your machine,” and we won’t tell you it is.
So think of it as a dial you control, one conversation at a time:
- Cloud power when you want the strongest model and the work isn’t sensitive.
- Fully local and private when it needs to stay in the room — on your silicon, nothing sent anywhere.
You decide, every time. An honest choice you hold is worth more than a privacy promise someone else asks you to take on faith.
And over time, the memory it builds is yours — on your hardware, in your folders, not a subscription you’re renting the right to access. It gets more useful the more you use it, and it stays with you because it was never anywhere else.
What it costs
Free to run on your own machine. That’s the real product, not a crippled demo — the assistant, the voices, the local-brain privacy, yours for nothing.
Pro is $9/month or $59/year when you want more.
One straight word about where we are: helloim.ai is a release candidate. It’s early, and it’s good, and we’re not going to dress it up as a decade-old finished product. You’d be getting in near the start of something — with an assistant that already does what this page says, today.
The whole thing, in one line
You’d stop being the only place all of it is stored. Something’s holding it now — in your voice, on your machine, private when you need it to be. That’s the part of your brain you get back, and honestly, that’s the whole thing.
